I was in a Taco Bell buying lunch when the person behind me in line got a phone call. It was a friend of theirs asking them to bring them some lunch, but I overheard them say they didn't have enough money. I gave them the money they needed to buy the food for their friend, gave them the Random Act of Christmas card, and told them to pass the gift on when they had a chance. It is fun to do things like this, and to see how excited others get about it too.

I was given a starter for a friendship bread. It is one of those that you work for ten days and then it makes two loaves of bread and four more starters...oh my goodness! Then I decided that was a great random act, I was able to take 8 loaves of fresh bread to the mission for Thanksgiving with a random act card of course.

I was in my local Walmart to pick up some Christmas lights, and was watching a family of four in front of me try to find the cash in their pockets to pay for some groceries (about $23). They seemed to be having trouble coming up with the money, so I handed the cashier the money for them. I gave them the Random Act of Christmas card and said "Merry Christmas." They just stood there in shock as I paid for my items and then said "Merry Christmas" again as I walked away.
